This is a cul-de-sac.
Our telephone line is manned 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm Saturday. You will always be answered by a knowledgeable and sympathetic trained staff member.
You are welcome to have another adult accompany you on your first visit. If you feel you require a staff chaperone, then you will need to mention this in advance. Find out more about Chaperone policy.
All patients seeking a first consultation at SVC, who have Private Health Insurance MUST have a referral letter from their GP. It is your responsibility to check with your Insurance Company that you have cover. If there is any shortfall in cover, you must let our advisor know when booking your appointment. We are unable to negotiate your cover, but we are happy to resolve issues of treatment options etc with your Insurers. Our advisors have a lot of experience of resolving misunderstandings with Insurers. If you have any doubts then give us a call.
We encourage potential patients to visit their GP before coming to see us, but this is not essential. You will not require a referral letter. If you would like to bring our service to your GP's attention, then we provide an easy to print-off GP Information Letter.
This contains an outline of all the non-surgical vein treatment alternatives at SVC.
You can also view or download and print a copy of our Patient Information Brochure. This is also useful to provide to your GP.
Many busy NHS GP's are not fully aware of the range of new treatments for all types of vein conditions. This is a good way of updating them too !
For all of our patients, as a matter of policy and best medical practice, we will inform your GP of our findings and treatment recommendations directly after your first consultation. You may then want to have a further discussion with your doctor, but you have the right not to if you so wish.
We will keep your GP informed at all times, unless you specifically sign a form requesting no such communication (Consent information).
If you have any negative feelings about any aspect of your SVC experience, we are very willing to help resolve any issue. First, let us know. We will follow a complaints procedure protocol.
We accept payment by cash, credit card, debit card and cheque.
We are approved by all major Private Health Insurers.
